Hamilton Watches

Many people interested in watches in general are inclined to acquire a military watch. Why? Could it be because of that touch of masculinity that such watches always have? The truth is when it comes to utility, military watches are rather hard to beat. They have been specially created to last and are thus very durable and reliable timepieces for any man, irrespective of his calling.

More About Hamilton Watches

Accurate, ergonomic, easy to read and endowed with special features, a Hamilton Military watch is not only useful but very elegant too. Let’s think of the British Hamilton wrist watches. The 6B also known as the Mark XI, available in two dial variations for the Royal Air Force, has a movement based on the ETA 2390.

The 6BB, GS (made for the UK General Service) and Tropical versions gained popularity when a considerable number of government agencies all over the world started to wear them. The Tropical model (marked as such on the back case) was created for use in tropical climates and is rarer than the General Service kind.

The W-10 is another durable and precise model that drew the attention of the Royal Force, very nice and elegant too. Its calibre is 649 and includes 17 jewels.
